Strategic design consultancy ThinkPlace has partnered with EarlyBirds Marketplace, giving it access to more than 1 million technology innovators worldwide.

EarlyBirds is a technology innovation ecosystem that connects innovators with early adopters and other experts, creating a network that can build ideas into real-world solutions. As a consultancy working to drive innovation and social change in Australia and around the world, ThinkPlace found value in the EarlyBirds offering.

The design consultancy has previously emphasized the value of collaboration when it comes to innovation, especially when it comes to real social change. More than 1.1 million technology innovators, early adopters and experts now form a vast pool of potential collaborators for ThinkPlace, opening the door to markets around the world.

There are also two programs in the EarlyBirds mix – Challenger and Explorer. The first of them is a kind of disruptive technology workshop designed to solve business problems. This is designed to support innovation in a specific business unit or across the business – including innovation days, webinars and corporate innovation programs led by subject matter experts.

And it’s not just a one-way street: ThinkPlace will act as a service provider for EarlyBirds, offering innovative and strategic design value when needed. The pair will work together to offer a combined value proposition – strategic design supported by innovative technology.

At a time when most businesses are digitizing and technology solutions are being explored to solve problems across business, society, the environment and government, this combination is likely to have many takers.

“Digitalization and the impact of disruptive technologies is central to many of the organizational development initiatives our clients are addressing,” said Dean Johnson, who recently joined ThinkPlace as CEO. “Being able to interact with EarlyBirds’ extensive global ecosystem of technology innovators will add significant value to the business transformation outcomes our clients are seeking.”

According to EarlyBirds Marketplace co-founder Jeff Penrose, the newly combined offering will benefit a group of clients hungry for ThinkPlace innovation. “ThinkPlace has a real desire to proactively support innovation for its clients and consider solutions to business problems using disruptive technologies. This agreement will help ThinkPlace and their clients achieve their digital transformation goals.”
